The vineyards are situated within the internationally acclaimed Coonawarra region and have been developed using the latest vineyard technology to create modern and efficient vineyards producing quality grapes for today's discerning wine consumer. The vineyards are located at the northern end of this fabled region where the vines benefit from the cooling sea breezes and gentler growing conditions.

The vineyards are covered by fully automated drip irrigation (electric pumps) and diesel motor operated "Dan Flipper" integrated frost protection system. The trellis system comprises treated pine end assembles, intermediate pine posts, drip wire with cordon and foliage wires where requires. The planting grid is 2.75m by 2m giving a density of 1,818 vines per ha. All plantings are on own roots.

Vineyard Manager - Peter Copping
Peter is a true local in the team, having lived most of his life in the Coonawarra region of South Australia and come from a farming background. Peter first started working with Wynn's in 1973 as a vineyard hand. From there he moved to Rosemount Wines, managing that group's extensive vineyard holdings in Coonawarra for 16 years.

In 2001 the merger between Southcorp and Rosemount saw Peter return to Wynn's bringing with him viticultural knowledge and experience. One of Peter's main objectives at Wynn's was planting and developing new vineyards to sustain Wynns fruit resources into the future.

In September 2005 Peter joined Coonawarra Vineyard Management Services as Group Vineyard Manager.
