Update - General Meetings held 31 January 2006
At the General Meetings of Growers of Project 2 and Shareholders of CPV Land Holdings Ltd, all votes received were in favour of the resolutions and the restructure of Project 2 was duly approved. CPV Land Holdings Ltd has changed its name to CPV Wines Limited and the assets and liabilities of Project 2 have been absorbed into CPV Wines Limited.

General Information
Coonawarra Premium Vineyards Project No.2’s vineyard is located approximately four kilometres north west of the township of Coonawarra and approximately two kilometres west of the main Penola – Naracoorte highway, adjacent to the first Coonawarra Premium Vineyards Project vineyards.
Project No.2 is 73.6 hectares consisting of 736 ‘stapled’ units, each 0.1 hectare per vineyard lot.

Project No.2 also received two different product rulings depending on when the person invested. If you invested between 10/4/01 – 31/10/01 then PR2001/30, but if you invested between 1/11/01 – 9/5/02 then PR2002/25 applies.

The vineyard was planted in two stages. 54.1 hectares was planted in 2001 and 18.8 hectares in 2002. The grape varieties planted are cabernet sauvignon (13.72 ha), shiraz (32.43 ha), merlot (18.32 ha), sauvignon blanc (3.43 ha), chardonnay, semillon and petit verdot.
